What do I do if the key doesn't turn?
Check if the key is the right one. Sometimes, the wrong key is forced in the keyhole but if it's not the right one and the pins don't match with the key's ridges, it won't turn. If it's the right key, spray lubricants. The lock is probably stiff. Be gentle as you try to turn the key to avoid breaking it.
Should I get double cylinder locks?
